The Hustle and The Bustle....

This morning I woke up around 630am, enjoyed a few minutes of silence which involved turning on all the Christmas lights. I enjoy them all day long....:) Dalton never stays in bed long enough in the mornings no matter what time his little head hits the pillow(ie: last night at 10pm).
So we poured juice and had marshmallow chocolate nutcrackers for breakfast. I was satisfied however when Daddy woke up he desired a much better breakfast than that...So he dressed (faster than ever mind you) and we loaded up and headed to Mimi's Cafe where the boys really enjoyed their breakfast.
With a special surprise from Dr. Schulz on Friday night we Wood's got to then head to the mall to make it a GREAT Christmas this year after all. I was so tickled after having the boys completely bought for and then some. I even got to treat myself by getting my new touch screen phone at an awesome rate. (Thank you Doc) As passing Santa Clause Dalton says he wants to go give Santa a hug..so of course we stood in line and paid 18.00 for a picture with Santa which is by the way the cutest picture ever.
About 2-3 hours later and far past the point of exhaustion in the mall with a 3 year old and the entire population of Kansas City that showed up in no time, we were so ready to leave. Russ grabbed the car while Dalton and I waited inside the mall doors.
Heading home Russ grabbed lunch for him and bubba from his favorite Mexican restaurant. Finally walking in the door around 12:30 I was exhausted. I showered and then sat down to play on my new phone while Dalton napped. About 330pm we were all relaxed and rested just to get going all over again. Russ left to go out to Peculiar, MO to the Metzdorf's house to watch the Dallas Cowboys hopefully stomp the undefeated New Orleans Saint's. Dalton and I headed to my sisters because awhile back I agreed to watch my nieces for Ian and Ash to go to their holiday dinner. Dear lord I did not at the time realize I would have Dalton with me as well. Here is when I say THANK THE GOOD LORD FOR STARBUCKS! It sets right by my side..supporting me all the way. :)
Let the Hustle N Bustle continue because I love this time of year....by the way the light dusting of snow today was also beautiful as we ventured out as well.
Can you believe that Christmas is only 4 days away??
