Last night I rushed home after a busy stressful day, enough time to walk in the door kiss my smiling excited to see me toddler, open a Christmas card from some old school friends, kiss the hubby hello and goodbye all while Desiree is sitting out in her car waiting so that we can retrieve coffee and hit the stores for some last minute must haves. We tackled or attacked.. Starbucks then Walmart, then ran by McDonald's for a gift card all in time to head back home kiss my bubba goodnight so he can go to bed, then smooched my hubby and sent him to bed as well. Then I had to sit down and spend some quality time preparing my boss's Christmas gift for today. I also bought a card for Russ and some candy while at Walmart. I left it on the couch for him to see this morning when he got up for work at 1am.
Somehow yesterday he and I were so in sync. He had no idea of my happenings throughout the day if you see the posted comment he left on my "Hustle and Bustle" post, he must have known exactly. I had already bought him the card and candy as well just because. I will tell you now.. we are going to be that old couple on the swing one day...still holding hands. Thank you Russ for being my bestest friend. Thank you Des for accepting all of my craziness!
