Saturday Glow Show

It was a Cheap Fun Evening...Mission Farms hosted a Glow Show.

It was 5 dollars a family to get in and the entertainment was great! Cotton candy/dollar, pop/dollar...face painting and moonwalks for FREE! The weather was awesome and the band, The Ballistics, were rockin good to. The Herrings called as we were there and they too thought why the heck not? After the sun was going down the hot air balloons did a glowshow where the fires go on and off throughout the lined up balloons. The fundraiser itself was for the Make A Wish Foundation. Great cause, Great company, Great evening!

My 3 Year Old...Lord Have Mercy!

Dalton has given me like 4 heart attacks in the last hour.....

#1Pushed his coloring box to the ET Center so he could reach and stuck his finger in the flame of a lit candle....not kidding. He was bare skinned and in his pullup, the what ifs are endless to me.
#2 Turned his shirt inside out and put it back on the tag being in the front, then I turn to see him playing with the scissors he is getting out of the kitchen drawer and he is going to cut off the tag...like mommy does for him USUALLY~
#3 He attempts to eat my potpurri I smell it on his breathe...so we brush his teeth again for the night.
At this point I put him in bed to save us an ER trip..not kidding!!!!
All of a sudden #4 I hear drum sticks and I can mentally visualize the drumsticks on his dresser thing in his room....I think how in the hell does he have them in his bed. Sneaky little devil must havereached like Stretch Armstrong and got them...WTH is going on? I thought we were out of the "child proofing" stages. Guess not!
Dear Lord-I need more anxiety meds! Please deliver!

The pictures above are just randoms from Dalton and I's picnic on the driveway tonight. You see the creativity...Bless this child. ;)
Night ya'll Im ready for work!
PS: The bucket picture....yes that would be Dalton saying "find me, find me" Thank god it didnthave a lid like a trunk or chest or WHATEVER right.........

PSS: Mind you every time these heart attacks took place i was in viewing distance, one time I was looking down texting the other I was on the phone..Its only takes a second!

Weekend Breakdown

Friday night after Russ got home from his games I was dressed and headed out the door to catch up with the girls at Famous Sams. Lots of fun in little time, that's for sure! I headed home early because I had to be on the road at the crack of dawm to head out to Cottonwood Falls, KS to watch some girls and boys play in the charity tournament for Caleb West, a kid who passed a couple years ago. Sis lives there, so Russ and her put together a team. I'm not gonna lie it was like SWAT walking onto the fields, here we are getting out of our cars, 4 bats in each bag, bags on the backs of our guys and I promise you we looked like mafia or something rolling into that small town. I heard we looked "serious" sooo lets just say we were the total talk of the town after the we lost the 1st game in a run rule. OBVIOUSLY, we still had car lag because we didnt lose another game all day. Going into the championship game we found that the team we were playing was the 1st team from the morning. Go figure right. It was actually good competition at one time the score was 14 to 13 the other team winning. I was nervous, I think we all were....We pulled ahead and showed a small town what "The Kansas City Team" came with. Next year we will Rock It! Be Scared Hinkston, Be Scared! NOTE: I do not play however I am a #1 jock supporter~ha!

The drive home was hilarious, we stopped and ate at Burger King which is where Austin scored the crown hat. He also had some Warhead Sour candy with him, and lets just say the pics while he attempted the candy was hilarious. I was cracking up and squealing, I was laughing so hard!

There is a before picture of myself that was taken at 7am and then the sunburned picture of me after the games and on the way home. Awesome right?

We took Austin to Walmart for his birthday shopping spree and he is now loaded up on things to o at Dad's house! No more carting a bag back and forth between houses. We have cranky boys and we are all tired as hell. Yet I wouldnt have changed a thing. The trip, the guys, the girls, the weather yesterday was all worth it. :)

For statistic puposes only.....for next years records:

Home Run Derby
Mike Brown-7
Jesse Moore-6
Russ Wood-6
Judd Peck-3
Paul Perry-4 or 5

Brown won 50.00 for the Championship title!
Misty Gradinger-Judd's sister won for the girls HRD

Austin's 9th Birthday!!

Happy Birthday Ausman!
My stepson Austin turned 9 on 9/11. We had a party at his Moms house. He got a drum set and boy was he excited. No longer just drumsticks that he beats on the couch with. The boy has a special brain when it comes to music, he can turn off vocals and here everything else. Never a lesson on the drums and he is GOOD. His dad, his aunt sister and his poppy are talented as well when it comes music. It was a good day for everyone. Pool, Dairy Queen birthday cake and a Sponge Bob pinata....good times!

Gloomy Sunday At The Woods

This past Sunday was just gloomy, I dont think I opened he blinds and we only left the house once for coffee. Mommy didnt feel good so lazy we were! Some pics of Bubba that made him appear to be lazy when I know that he was anything but.
