He turned 6 on Thursday December 13th!!! He's amazing, rotten, ornary, smart, full of energy, demanding, talkative, bossy, loving, special. He owns my heart! He makes us laugh hysterically at his phraes. However at times I can't help but get frustrated as a parent.. but that just makes me human right? I make sure to hug and kiss him so tightly all the time. He lights up our world makes us feel whole and I never want to know life without him. Happy birthday to my baby boy.
She said, "I love you to the moon." He said, "I love you to the sun, because it's hotter." (she laughed) Together, they are living happily ever after.

Giving Thanks
So I didn't participate in the 30 days of thanks however, I have enjoyed reading what everyone else is thankful for on either their blogs or on facebook. It's pretty interesting and quite comical to read the things they come up with when you have to think of 30. I have thought maybe I should give it a whirl so here goes I'll do my best.
I'm thankful for:
Looking forward to a new adventure of some sort next year. :)
I'm thankful for:
- My house that we have now owned two years and will celebrate our third Christmas in this year
- My husband/best friend/soul mate- I'm not kidding when I say I just truly love staring at him, just ask him, he find it really weird LOL
- Dalton Lee--he will turn 6 in less than two weeks
- Money/Jobs its not much but it keeps the lights on and food on our table
- Running/working vehicles
- Sibling relationships; both with my sister and my brother
- Starbucks, I know it's a habit I could/should live without but I just don't wanna :)
- My parents, the relationship I have with each parent is different but strong!
- Medi-Weight loss -for my 50lbs loss and my better overall health
- Best Friends
- Teamwork-I hardly do anything alone anymore.
- Patience-as a mom to two boys, a dog, a wife to my husband, being a dedicated friend, sibling, aunt, daughter, and neighbor I ASK FOR PATIENCE DAILY.
Looking forward to a new adventure of some sort next year. :)

You're Seeing This
I'm not saying I am inspired by any means to really start posting on this EVERYDAY again but Wowzers its almost been a year (Jan) since my last post. Oops! Let me tell you why I actually quit this blog...I started another journey which consumed every ounce of brain power that I had CLICK HERE to view that life changing event if you wish.
It was a point in my life when I did the most selfish act, it was all about me and what I wanted no matter the cost or sacrifices. However it opened my eyes to the kind of team player that I married because he jumped right on board with me shedding 60lbs, alongside my 50lbs. We are both at lighter now that when we met each other. Just crazy to me.
I'm so behind on actual camera photos due to my obsession with Instagram and Facebook it makes the photo sharing so easy. So I promise to charge my camera battery and use it TODAY! Today is yet another Mommy and Dalton day then it turns into a Sissy and Sissy day! Our good family friend is hosting a Holiday event open to the public with vendors that come into her home. Its a great GIRLS night and I cant wait!! Tomorrow night is a hayride and bonfire at Shawnee Mission Park with Val from work!
Some Randoms off the top of my head facts over the past year:
Hubby and I celebrated 6 years of marriage--still going strong
Dalton started Kindergarten at Niemen at Ray Marsh at Benninghoven ACTUALLY at Good Shepherd Catholic School--that was chaos at its best!
Moose turned 2 and Alvin comes home over Christmas-Santa is bringing Alvin which would be Moose's nephew.
We are celebrating 2 years in our little but cozy house, the mortgage is lower than any 1 bedroom apartment out there just sayin! Its magic I tell ya :)
I celebrated 5 years at my job and its just getting better and better
My dad relocated from a 7hr trip to work to a 2hr trip. Still home every weekend but much closer :)
My brother had a baby boy named Preston and my oh my is he precious
We celebrated our 3rd trick or treat at the Dearing's, and what a treat it is!
We established a savings account just to drain it on our drive to Texas in another week! Yikes!!!
Austin (stepson) turned 12!
I shed 50lbs and 49inches--still shocking to me. Sometimes I even put on a pair of pants thinking they still fit..not so much!
Went from a size 20/22 to a 14
We did a total bathroom make over-Holy Shit Balls What An Event! :)
I also met some amazing ladies I now call friends- Terra and Jeleanna! Thanks to Damon and Candie
Thats it for now. So on that rambling note..Hi Y'all, Bye Y'all

What Weekend?

o

Love today's weather, gloomy and dreary but warmish. Started off my morning sipping coffee and watching I LOVE LUCY (this is becoming a weekend ritual) until the rest of the house woke up. Dalton actually LOVES the show as much as I do and well Russ just shakes his head and laughs. I got my booty into a higher gear and worked out. I am trying to do it every day..I just feel better afterwards. Hardest part is initiating the action. After that Dalton and I met the Dearing ladies for some Little Monkey Bizness fun. The kids played hard and we left when it turned into a complete zoo! LOL
Before I left this am I started some chicken in the crock pot (Candie was doing it and it sounded scrumptious) when I got back I added some pumpkin and seasonings and then researched on Pintrest for some Low Carb taco shells and waa-laa I found them and yum!
Also Russ started working on his escort in the garage today and well Dalton was practically helping. I love that my little man is jack of all trades even at only 5 years old. :)
Now to get ready for my LONG week ahead: Monday and Tuesday I will be assisting and working front at the office. Normal day Wednesday than off on Thursday and Gall Bladder surgery on Friday. YUCK!

Where I Have Been
HOLD ON NOT YET....READ BELOW FIRST THEN CLICK
I figured it's time to allow you all into my EVERYDAY OBSESSION. I have felt it was best that for the last 3 months I try this on my own, I have stayed very focused that way. I made it through the toughest of group settings ( the holidays) thus far and for that I am super proud of myself and my strength as a woman!! If you really know me, then you know how easily I fall ....OFF of my intentional plan(s) but I wont budge off this new thing...its all mine!!

NeW YeArS EvE
I was thrilled when Candie and I decided to put the families together for some NYE fun. The Dearing's grilled steaks and I brought the veggies and fruit! The entire goal of the night was to SEE MIDNIGHT! It happened! It actually happened! Don't get me wrong the wine was really making my eyelids cozy but Mrs. Dearing wasn't letting me out on this one. We called the neighbors and they joined us for some Catch Phrase and let me tell you what---thats pure freakin entertainment!! We played that and Scattergories! As for the kids they ran and romped like crazy! Only 2 of the 3 were left standing at midnight. Kenley Rae and Dalton. We rang in the new year watching the "Ball" drop NOT the "Apple" while we sipped on sparkling cider. I kissed my little man and then my husband which made for a perfect NYE. Then we snapped pictures and ran to our cars at 12:05am as the sleet and pouring rain fell on us. Yes, it went from 63 degrees to pure freezing yuck! Hello 2012.
(Backing up ONE Post) Christmas Morning
ALL of the holidays seem to be a huge blur and all I see is FOOD! What a struggle it has been so excuse me if I didn't put a whole lot into Turkey Day and Christmas on my blog but Seriously the food is sooooo over-rated! SO with that said here are 2 of the ONLY 5 pictures I took of our entire Christmas and well honestly I THINK THEY ARE THE MOST IMPORTANT! Mommy and Daddy on Christmas morning with little man. These are the moments he will remember! PS: It's like 6am sorry that we look Chinese! LOL
December 31st---65 degrees PARK DATE!!
We seriously had the BEST time at the park on New Years Eve day. It was in the 60's on December 31st and minus the WIND it was gorgeous! We ran the dog until he couldn't run anymore and let the kid ride his new bike he got for Christmas until he couldn't ride anymore OR.... until Daddy tried to ride and broke the pedal LOL I just kept watching and laughing as I took pictures of the entire event. It fell really good to be outside and with my boys :)
