So we live in a very old house(THIS IS NOT OUR HOUSE). I am intrigued by old homes. So when I found a site on the Johnson county library website I was all inspired. This is one of the homes below that I found. The Riekes are very well known name in Shawnee, KS and this home was built by a Rieke in 1921. There is a before pic that I found on my website...and then there is a current day picture I just took tonight where the house still stands at 55th and Quivira in Shawnee. The house looks abandoned but it has a grill out back which is a large add on. I love this!!!!!! I was grinning from ear to ear wondering about , who lived here besides the Rieke family in 1921? Whats their story? Who does it belong to now??? I love History, which was honestly one of my worse grades in highschool.

20LBS LOST!!

Now ....Finally as of October 26th I have met the 210 mark. I have been holding at 212 for over a month now...FRUSTRATING. So that puts me at my 20lbs loss from 230 my starting weight.

WORN OUT AND SAD

Lately I have been one of those "Hey let's plan to go do this with our kids" and with FULL intention of trying to go do it, I just can't and don't because my 2 year old would make it unpleasant. Then it makes me look like this HORRIBLE LOSER LAZY friend and I am having a little bit of a tough time with it. I cant plant ANYTHING not knowing what Bubba will be like in 2 hrs, did he have a good nap? Is he gonna be happy? Can I take him in public and have a good time too? Its tough, tougher than I ever thought it could be...I do like acting 40 years old though. I feel I will get to be young again when Dalton can stay home by himself and daddy and I can go out..but for now I am finding out and proving I CANT MAKE PLANS! :)

You will need to teach children how to express affection appropriately.

Yes, I finally got to see the Bards..I miss them so much. Little Coltyn has to do breathing treatments every morning and every night because his lungs aren't so great...Amberly def, has her hands full but let me tell you she is a mother by nature!!! We are def. making more time for US again Whats behind the door?

See I really am liking the way my body is all around improving little by little, actually I am learning for the first time in a LONG time how to take a compliment...I have 10 lbs to lose by November 22nd. Its a goal of mine. :) That would put me at 30lbs lost. Yeah, only 40 more to go after that for ULTIMATE goal. I have a P.O.S camera and I am really getting into photography since I now have things to do with my pics, like post them here on Blogger. When I got home from the gym I was pumped not counting the fact I had a red bull in my system, so my boys were all in bed, ACTUALLY I put them there with kisses and hugs. I then cleaned house, took trash out, did two loads of laundry and I mean hung and put away and then swifter jetted all of my rooms....Ahh its smells clean! Then I watched the all time best movie AND recorded it so I could watch it over and over Whats Eating Gilbert Grape? I love it! You know Arnie is Autistic, we just didn't know much about it then..So after that I was TOTALLY bored and so I took pics of myself, I must have done 30 shots and this is all I came up with. There's only so much you can do with 2 foot arms length..I know my BFF Candie will pull through.

Jealousy

So we all know about Bubba, how he is your typical boy and all. Which makes Daddy and I very proud.
Things Bubby loves
1. OUTDOORS...he loves being outside, in the rain and thunder or 101 degrees. He wants his window rolled down in the car even if its 50 degrees outside.
2. He loves to be rough housed. He has a scar on his left cheek and his nose is scrapped up from swinging on his belly and face planting.
3. He does watch TV but ONLY if its football, Nascar or monster trucks

Point of my story though is that he very rarely sits still and cuddles unless he is sick.
Lately though he lays in bed with DADDY!! It made my heart all warm and tingling when I witnessed it for the first time last night. He really laid there in his jammies and daddy would rub his head and say "shh close your eyes bubby...shh" and he really calmed down and was just so at ease. I sat on the floor at the foot of the bed in awwwe. I tried to get the camera but it was dead of course it was.......

I just wanted to share the number one reason why I love BOYS!!!!!

What once stood alone

This basketball hoop was a gift from cousin Emmy last birthday December 2007. It has sat alone wondering if anyone besides Dad and his buddies was going to play. It has moved from house to house in high hoops..(get it) of being played with...I walk by Dalton's room today and see what?????? I smile, I want to cry and I just turn and grab the camera and get Daddy because all of a sudden we have an All-Star on our hands... Nothing but net!!!

Sucker for Sleeping Babies

I told you I was a sucker for sleeping babies. I am not sure what it is but I just seem to sit , stare and get lost in them. What are they dreaming, thinking, etc? Or are they even doing that much? Its so care free. Maybe I think its because its a time where there is no worries for moms either other than to see them keep breathing :). I have not been as relaxed as I was today watching my 6 week old niece sleep in a VERY long time...I by no means want another child but BOY do I miss these days..it will come again. Bubba has this new thing where he sits on my lap and lays his head back and watches TV. Its PURE heaven for those 5 or 10 minutes...So I found some pictures of Bubby sleeping and only posted a FEW of them....enjoy!

They are my reality check, my pull it together Tracy you have to be a great not the best but a great mom. Dalton and Austin keep me laughing and yelling all the time. "don't do that, don't run, quiet down, sit down, brush your teeth, have you changed your clothes all weekend Austin?, slow down, come here.......but at the end of the show..its kisses and hugs and I LOVE YOU!! Austin is my literal son..black and white nothing in between. I have to share a quote from yesterday. See Austin helped me sort laundry and if you have ever seen Russ and I's room you would know what kind of chore he had, but he completed with not a complaint. I actually think he liked it which means I LOVED IT! Since he was so great I asked him what he wanted for lunch he said "Wendy's" I was like "No, I really don't want FAST food" and his reply was "I know some SLOW food places, like sonic they are kind of slow"
