I should have been a Historian

This is a NEAT READ for sure!
The Rieke family standing out front and there is there old car to the right as well. Sorry the picture is so blurry.

Look at the window for the attic in the first one. Just to prove its the same house. It appears they have added a screen to the porch at some point.

So we live in a very old house(THIS IS NOT OUR HOUSE). I am intrigued by old homes. So when I found a site on the Johnson county library website I was all inspired. This is one of the homes below that I found. The Riekes are very well known name in Shawnee, KS and this home was built by a Rieke in 1921. There is a before pic that I found on my website...and then there is a current day picture I just took tonight where the house still stands at 55th and Quivira in Shawnee. The house looks abandoned but it has a grill out back which is a large add on. I love this!!!!!! I was grinning from ear to ear wondering about , who lived here besides the Rieke family in 1921? Whats their story? Who does it belong to now??? I love History, which was honestly one of my worse grades in highschool.
