Jason Aldean, Sedalia MO 2011

WOW! Words don't explain the show this MAN puts on. I was moovin and groovin and having a great time. It was a sold out concert with 20,000 fans at the Sedalia, MO State Fair. It was arena bleacher seating and the weather was 75 and breezy! Thompson Square and Chris Young opened the concert for Mr. Aldean making it a very long wait for Jason's 4 year old number one fan, Dalton Lee! He performs and sounds in person the exact way he sounds on TV there is no false advertisement there. He is simply an amazing artist. I will not think twice about seeing him again with even better seats. I would rank him right up there with Garth Brooks as far as entertainment and generosity :) The concert started 7:30pm and Jason came out at 9:15 we left at 10:45pm to get headway from the 15,000 drunk fans (not kidding, that was a major downfall to the concert being at fairgrounds) not to mention we had an 1hr and a half drive back home making for a very late night. But no worries I recorded two songs LIVE and I keep replaying them(shhhhhh, he is just so sexy) When we got home Dalton said "I thought we were seeing the Jason Aldean movie, I didn't know he was gonna be alive" meaning LIVE of course. I asked him why he didn't really react excited he said "I was soooo nervous, he was alive"
Ya know my family doesn't get to do much so when he reacts with that and still talks about it the next morning I become full with love, satisfaction and joy as a parent that I must be doing something right. Thank you husband, son and most JASON ALDEAN for a wonderful Saturday night.

He insisted on wearing his cool Jason Aldean clothes again to play outside this morning soooo I insisted he take pictures turns out you pretty much don't even have to try with this kid he is gorgeous.

Weekend Rewind

Friday was our scheduled Play Date at Melissa's house. We all have kids except Ally and her time is coming hopefully soon :) We had recently seen each other at the reunion however our all of our kids had not met. It was a good time catching up with laughter and lots of hugging. Funny how women do that aint it?! Mel and I's boys are only 4 months apart and man did they play well together. Trucks, video games and superman...boy heaven! The girls were all so done up and cute its was baby couture everywhere! I loved it but I am so a boys mom when it comes to stuff like that.

I loved this little lady. She said she was 3 and that her cousin was asleep upstairs so I had to be very quiet, turns out she is 2 and the cousin was actually her 15month old sister. LOL

We did nothing the rest of the weekend. I couldn't resist watching I Love Lucy reruns for Lucille Balls 100th Birthday all day Saturday. I was in heaven. Russ kept calling me Aleice(his Mom) I am a sucker for TV Land marathons. Dalton watches the shows too abnd I even caught Austin watching for a bit. :) Come Sunday Daddy got up early, went and got donuts and coffee then came back. It was so darn nice out at 630am that we all sat outside. We made our trip to Walmart and then just literally loved on each other all day. I was just in that cozy/lazy mood so I didn't complain one bit.
