Fall Tales Time

What's not to LOVE about this time of year? How do you even attempt a sad face? The weather might chill some of your bones but it has to be pretty darn cold to get through my skin! I love me some sweatpants and sweatshirts but to be honest I am still sporting my jeans and a long sleeve shirt and ....wait for it..FLIP FLOPS. Yes I usually where them unless there is snow on the ground and well then, I might still try it out! Watching the leaves change on the trees is the best time ever spent, and then asking your husband to rake them after they fall is even a better waste of time!! :)
OCTOBER well... It's MY month. I am a Libra and to be honest we are one of the coolest breeds. I will turn 28 on the 9th and its always a big deal. I am planning a bonfire (small fire pit, I like to make my life sound big) in my driveway with family and friends! Smores and booze. I have been told I am an old soul and trust me I play the part very well. October is also Breast Cancer Awareness Month and 8 years ago tomm. my mother was diagnosed with this world wide disease! Thank goodness for early detection she is now a survivor. It has never ran in our family anywhere. She had two lumpectomy's, radiation and took Tomoxifin medication for years afterwards. We are heading out to her house in the morning to celebrate, its a tradition. US girls as in Ashley, Mom and I have created through the years. Ash and I have to start mamograms at 30. This coming year will be my sister's first time. Lord this is when large breasts are not so great :(
October is also my good friend Desiree's birthday. Hers is the 5th of the month. We met eachother 6 years ago on the same night that we met "the group" of friends. She was dating Scott and I was dating Russ. Russ and Scott knew eachother already and were goodfriends. Really long story briefed for your sake LOL. Anyway Des and I are four days apart and as much as we may look, or act different....its something about Libra's that make us the same, we are connected in the soul! Our minds think alike, our personalites tend to fix or help those around us or perfect strangers. We always want to be secure or feel safe, we have never met a stranger...its so wierd! So Happy Birthday Dessy...you have been there since day 1 of my NEW life!
Briefing of today: (wow, great jon on the ADHD side of things, I think I have jumped around 10 times so far in this post)
Dalton's daycare was closed today ...on MY FRIDAY off. So I allowed him to tag along with my sis and her entire crew :). Good lord we are NUTS. We made a Walmart trip and almost left the kids willingly. :)
It was pure fun as usual!! Out of the deal I got  two rounds of coffee on me of course, in which Ashley attempted to steal my debit card. I also scored a burned copy of the Hannah Montana CD..THANK YOU ASHLEY, I now get to hear it over and over. I will so be noddin my head like yeah, moving my hips like yeah! This better be like a new weight loss system or something.
I semi-cleaned house today, I am not really feeling it for the first friday in awhile. Oh well. So the plans are: Tonight Russ plays ball, not sure what time but I got some DVR shows to watch. Saturday at about 6am my sister will be here to get me and we are heading to Moms to help celebrate the TaTa's! Then Sunday we are heading to the Harrington's at 9am for a breakfast/Kerby Farm Pumpkin Patch. Jason and Jazz are always a good time. Crazy daring Caleb puts the fear in Dalton. Dalton talks about Calebs stunts for like a week after we see him. Dalton is funny because he wants to be such a tough little guy but at the same time he is such a weenie. He must toughin up for Daddy's sake and Pampa's!
Ok well my camera is down and out because I have gone through 12 batteries in the last month and I refuse to keep buying them. Could have bought a new camera with that money by now! Have a great weekend everyone and I am sure posts of the weekend will come as we go...
Hugs.

  1. Yay me! I am fun and I have an exciting son. BUT what I do not have is a son who loves to hear me say "BATTERY BATTERY!" I love you guys so much and don't worry my camera is up and running I can take enough pictures for both of us! See you Sunday morning for pancakes or waffless... don't know yet! I know there will, I repeat... there will be bacon involved! And none of that healthy turkey bacon either.
