Chicken Soup For The Soul

Delish!!
Finished Product
A much needed Wish Bone

My Heart, Soul and Body are on overload! I have had a cold for 5 days now...Its annoying and it makes me grumpy! I am a scent person...I love candles and food cooking! I decided to make Chicken Noodle Soup for my first time EVER. I am also a EASY person. So I short cut the whole EASY recipe that I found. Funny after all said and done it totally wasnt the recipe I started with but it was a starting point for me. My Aunt Laurie said Chicken Noodle Soup is made with LOVE and well I think that once you start making it..the smells of simmering celery in butter and the heat the soup puts off just makes you LOVE!

INGREDIENTS
1 tablespoon butter (More butter)
1/2 cup chopped onion
1/2 cup chopped celery
4 (14.5 ounce) cans chicken broth (I used 5 cans)
1 (14.5 ounce) can vegetable broth (I did not use)
1/2 pound chopped cooked chicken breast (I used a whole traditonal taste pre cooked from store Rotissere chicken...IT WAS SO EASY AND AWESOME)
1 1/2 cups egg noodles (I used a whole bag, I love noodles)
1 cup sliced carrots (whatever you like)
1/2 teaspoon dried basil (I did not use)
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano (I did not use)
salt and pepper to taste

DIRECTIONS
I sauteed celery, onion and butter until soft, I tore apart the WHOLE chicken and set aside. Boiled my noodles until done, draine and set aside.
In the soup pot I combined all 5 cans of broth, salt, pepper, raw carrots, and the celery/onion mixture. Brought a boil and let simmer until carrots were soft, added chicken and noodles and of course ALL of MY LOVE!

Served with: Buttered crackers and a spoon.....It was all worth it.
