Jinxed?!

Yesterday we went to the ball fields to watch Brendyn, a friend of ours son, try out for competitive baseball. Yeah he made it!!! As we are sitting on the bleachers a lady states that Dalton looks very familiar, then ask who my pediatrician is. I tell her and she laughs cause she is the lady I spoke with on the phone for almost 5 months straight. She knew my name, embarrassing~~ She was sooo kind. She played and laughed with Bubba! She asked how he has been doing and I say GREAT! End of story..or so I thought. He woke with a 102 fever this morning plus he is wearing his major cranky pants. I don't usually dig birthday parties gotta be honest I cant stand the chaos, but I have been looking forward to Brendyn's birthday for at least two weeks now..this better just be a glitch in the morning Bubba! :( He has been fighting one of those "dog days" summer colds that everyone is getting. Its definitely sitting right in his lungs now which might be our problem. Upside to all of this he loves to cuddle when he is sick, YEAH a 2.5 year old that sits still.
