Update on Mr. Bubba

So we called and talked to our favorite nurses and Dr David Dobratz who I would refer to anyone, he has been the best to us as far as researching Dalton. Also informing me over and over I am not CRAZY! So after our pointless visit to CM South Urgent care last night we find today through x-rays and testings and a 103temp. that Bubba has pneumonia in his left lung and RSV, the Dr says because his immune system is always so weak anyways, and that a typical kid could have a cold for a week before RSV hit and Dalton's was literally overnight. So I pushed fluids this evening through a 1ml syringe and took pics that are too cute that I will post soon. I started the antibiotics that I hope work for him (he is allergic to amoxicillian and zithromax, the drugs that treat this, WELCOME TO MY WORLD) Sooooo~ he is on a weaker drug! I go back wed. for another chest x-ray and re-eval. before returning him to daycare! Val and Julisa witnessed for themselves today and last night how happy he is and the reason's why he is usually so overlooked. Had it not been the no wet diapers in 12hrs and rapid breathing while watching toons I would have let him slide thinking typical cold. I almost even cancelled today's appt because he drank a little! Glad I followed through with this one.
