Laundry Makes Me Smile

Seriously what an evening this turned out to be....Its Kansas City and we have our first real snow storm. It has been mildly snowing and sleeting since 11am but just enough to make my 15minute drive home a 65min trip. With nerves already on edge because I HATE snow and icy roads, I call my husband and yes its for the 45th time, because did I mention I hate this weather. He doesn't answer and in all honesty I simply was going so slow that my odometer wasn't even going above zero and I was bored and was going to just talk, but no....my husband called me back and raised his tone and said "what do you want?" I simply just said nothing as he insisted on asking "what?" I just said "I am letting you go now" and hung up, turned the radio up and jammed out because I knew it would be a long and patient needed trip. He then calls me and ask if I am in a better mood huh? Explains to me then that he was changing bubba's poopy diaper, Austin was trying to let the stray cat in the back door and I was calling for the 45th time.. oh and that he wants to go to walmart BUT our child wants to eat and is in desperate need of a bath and I have laundry out the wazoo. So Russ goes by himself to the store with a list. I feed Bubby, bathe him then all of a sudden PEACE....LAUGHTER.....PICTURES...me and bubby play and ya know what with....????
LAUNDRY! Yes, we turned folding daddy's socks out of the dryer into the best most fun game ever. He is all mine, smiles, tears, fits, and laughter I love him so much...
This is funny, I need a new washer ever since our last move this washer is totally off, it shakes, rattles and rolls...so as its shaking bubby puts his hand on it and says " uuuuuhhhhhhuuuuuuhhhhh" Too Cute!
