My mother is Martha Stewart,this we have talked about before and sad but true Ashley follows closely behind and thank goodness for them I will have tradition in my life because if it was left up to me, well lets just say we would baking, shopping, and wrapping all on Christmas Eve.

The scenario behind these pictures is funny....my mom is going to make these lemon cookies with cut up lemon gumdrops on them and coarse sugar that we paid 7.00 for a little bag from a store called Bakers Rack....don't go there....Needless to say we all learned today that spice drops and gumdrops are different, all of spice drops taste like black licorice, we needed lemon flavored...so on a mission Ash went calling stores.... no luck..........people think we are crazy....as we are!

I went to Hen House to coordinate Starbucks round 2 and dig through the Brachs candy bin for EVERY yellow gumdrop I could find....
