I agree I have been majorly MIA but that comes with explanation...Last weekend my in-laws, yep MY Texas living in-laws drove 10-12 hrs to visit us. Mainly to watch Stacia, my niece, their granddaughter, play in a softball tournament here in KC, but they stayed with us two days. Going through pictures to create this post I noticed I really didn't even have time to grab the camera much during their visit. I felt like someone said "Hey mom n dad are here!" and then POOF they were gone. That's OK because we will see them November during our trip to Texas. It will be a much longer visit. :)
Moving on...Uncle Ryan, the farmer, the OU fan, Sister's hubby bought Dalton the tractor set you see below. Oh my goodness is he spoiled by that man!! He and Ryan bonded from day one, not kidding. Not sure if Dalton is aware that Uncle Ryan and Dad root for different College teams(actually rivalries at that) but he is sure to figure it out "sooner" or later and to be honest watch little man attend OU..lord help us now :) Dalton told Nana that he was gonna be a rancher, she said "no your not!" He looked at me, while shaking his head with this she doesn't know what shes talking about look..and said "yes, I am" He is getting so big so darn fast. I already bought his John Deere gear for Candie to take his 4 year bday pics in.
Next story: Candie has taken up photography and she is booking rather quickly. I really believe she is gonna be even greater than she is now. However with TWO kiddos in tow and a hubby that works weekends she needed some help. So she asked if I would'nt mind watching the girls while she did a photo shoot here and there. Never more than a couple hours really. Of course I said yes, because A. they are super easy and B. Dalton and Cadence play well together while me and Kenley goo goo and ga ga! :) However, this weekend or actually last Thursday my back started acting up. If you have never experienced back pain then quit reading because you will think I am a total weenie! I so am not!! Its an unreal, surreal kind of pain. I would rather have TEN root canals! Mine is a result of trying to be super woman in weights class back in high school and then a rollover car accident when I was 18 where I was thrown into the backseat of a extended cab truck that landed upside down in a field. (hence ONE of the reasons I am not a big drinker) So about every 3 years or so I will get a doozy of a backache. This time is different in the sense that I am mobile. Not sure how but I am..its a different pain that goes down each thigh and constantly throbs in my low back, sitting is the worst and sleeping...well, what in the hell is that?. I slept on the floor 3 nights and finally made it to the bed last night.
