What's Going On @ The Wood's?

A lot actually! A lot is going on. Here I will type rambling thoughts as they roll out of my busy brainy,heady thingy. There is a ton of thingys on my mind on a daily basis. However, I have learned long ago from a very smart man, that LiFe is just that...LiFe so don't sweat the small things or they will become big things. :) Smart huh? :)

• Thea(Des's sister) had her surgery today (breast cancer) She has a very rare form of breast cancer. She has a Phyloddes(sp) Tumor. Not treatable by chemo or radiation so under the knife she went. She went boldly and strong. We use the new slogan a lot and say she "Fought Like A Girl" and came out of surgery great :)
• We LiVe, LoVe, LaUgH and sometimes we LoSe. Des and Thea lost a loved one this past week as well, and another friend (Casey) celebrated the 1 year anny for the loss of her newborn son Preston Cash. Hearts and prayers to them. Strength comes in every shape and color thats for sure.
• Candie is due to have her baby girl Kenley in June, actually on my hubby's birthday, June 5th. However, she will do anything to make them NOT share that day :) Honestly, they are secret lovers, no worries :) Back to my point, I think it will be sooner rather than later. I was betting on today, and today is still not over (7:55pm to be exact) I will be sleeping with my phone the next few weeks :)
• I, Me, Tracy...I am still a medical mess! What they have regulated best is my energy. I am somewhat back up to par, but I do love a great nap whenever I can catch one. Heres what I do know..they found my Prolactin level is LOW, my Androgenic hormones are HIGH, my Parietal cells (stomach area)are elevated, I have a B12 and D3 deficiency, I have extreme hair loss so thank goodness my hair WAS thick to begin with :) I still have tremors or small ticks all day long. They have tried Parkinson's meds to help me sleep (no luck) so next steps. I see an Endocrinologist on May 24th and I have an overnight sleep study done June 3rd to rule out brain and nervous system issues with the Adrenal gland or Pituitary gland. If you understand any of this well, then your better than me ;)
• The transmission went out in the blazer so we are having to get a car loan while in Chapter 13. Yes, it can be done but.... Lord have mercy on us. :(
• I have realized how strong Russ and I truly are as a couple. You could light our house on fire or throw us out in the cold with a cardboard box (please God dont really test us) and I believe as long as we are together we would be laughing (of course crying and fighting too) I love him with all of me!

I pray for Cancers to fade and be gone fast, I pray for healthy babies and new life, I pray for smart doctors and good thorough answers, I pray for money, and most of all I thank the big guy upstairs for my great family and friends.

So there you have it. Maybe it's a little negative and not so cheery but it's LiFe and I am still laughing every single damn day so you should too. Things could always be worse ya know? Muah!
