This evening we ventured out to Tonganoxie, KS which makes for a long drive (35mins) from Shawnee, but I guess after you really move out and get married and have a home of your own that you really cant call your mom and dads house HOME, no matter where it may be. I think that's what hard for me to deal with. Change has never been easy on me and either is being separated from my parents. When they resided in Parsons, KS (2 1/2 hrs away) it was always just temp and that they would be HOME someday. So I guess reality set in these last couple days that they aren't going to always be just blocks away!Anyway as you can see....I went picture crazy. The house and landscape is amazingly beautiful. Just what Mom n Dad were looking for. It's gonna be great for grandkids, retirement, family holidays etc.

ReplyDeleteI LOVE it!! I want to go see it soon!! It looks like a great place to capture some good photo ops, and you know how I love me some photo ops!! Glad Mom and Pops are closer to HOME!! Once you drive it a few times...it's will be no biggie!! :)
