Hello snow day! (insert government letter here) Corporate workers whom have school age children should be able to claim snow days at the end of the year on taxes! It's just unfair in today's economy to risk your job!!! It's 31 degrees today. Snow fall started about 2 or 3am and so far we have about 3.5inches. Weather man said it
could accumulate to about 6-7inches. I would go ahead and bet that's true. Dalton got the good ole stomach flu early Saturday morning(12am) so we did NOTHING but lay around all day yesterday. He had only crackers and sprite. He even requested a bath and then to go to bed at 630 last night! Still had a fever during the night so I let him sleep in this morning. Of course after I saw the snow I was like what the heck we are gonna be late anyhow might as well take our time right?! Well he woke up, got dressed and was ready to hit the road. I was like whoa-whoa-whoa hold on let me ummm brush my teeth... :) I think he was stir crazy too. So we dressed and bundled and hit the road. It was
only an hour later(daycare is 10minutes away) that we arrived at daycare. Dalton goes inside and hardly made it to the bathroom. Here we go
again! Mommy was trying to rush him to healthy so I could get back to work. This is when being a working mom hurts! So back to the car for another long drive back home. Before home I stopped off and got ingredients for roast, carrots and potatoes in the crock-pot and I also got Dalton a couple movies since I knew the couch was once again where we would be all day. Thanks to Julisa and Valerie I think they finally have the office under control so that I am able to relax not being there. I still feel a sense of panic though.

Dalton attempting applesauce. He refused to get his jammies back on. I hear ya little buddy I am still in my work clothes and boots too. Home is for the birds! :)
OK, I know I am a huge dork but this will be fun for all of us to look back on. Not too many things get me down but I have the winter blues already and being couped up for 4 days due to sick and now snow I am being a big ole whiny booty!
I have never been real good at pouting! Ashley does this much better!!! HAHA!
Only thing that can settle my heart, mind and nerves. A could cup of JaVa!
Well, Russ is on his way home from work. Been there since 1am. So I am making one of his faves not to mention it makes the house super yummy smelling!
Here's to living the dream! Maybe if Dalton feels better later or tomorrow we can get out and make snow angels!
