Ball...Ball and Some Cowboy Boots

This week ball season started for Daddy. Friday night double headers here we come. Dalton was so excited to go to the "gallf-fields" I had to explain they were "ball fields" we weren't going to play golf. LOL When the team started to arrive Dalton was first to follow Daddy into the dugout and onto the field. He would throw the ball to Jeff Bard and then to Daddy. It's called warming up :) When the teams were ready to play Daddy told Dalton to get out...needless to say he was super bummed when he found out that he wouldn't be playing in the actual game. Tears and All!
Dalton and Daddy romping around at the ball park before the rest of the team and theirs families showed up. It turned out to be a great time. Cold but super fun. It was great to see all the men in thier uniforms and then really fun to chat with all of the women including my new found friend Ms. Judy. Dalton and her boys, Dyson and Mason played pretty darn cute together.
My All Star Hubby
I think Daddy possibly might have a fan...besides me of course :).
This morning we dropped Dalton off at Gabby's and headed to Independence, MO to watch my niece Stacia play in her first Fast Pitch Softball Tournament. Pouring rain, hail and freezing temps we still supported.
Me and My Sis-In-Love...Look at the SUPER NEAT HOODIE she got me..I'm soooo her favorite.
Dude, we could be sisters. We really think somewhere maybe there is some DNA being hidden..

I guess (sigh) that they could also be related. Bud and Sis (14months apart) Playing ball is their passion! One thing that they bond really well over and yet fight really well over too.

The games were on a huge rain delay. First game was to be played at 10am however, it wasn't played until 2pm. So we visited, for MY first time, Bass Pro Shop. It was super cool. :)
We watched the one game, then had to leave and retrieve little man. When we got home I made dinner and then Dalton and I decided to color a big piece of cardboard. Yes, you will notice his cowboy boots. He wore them all day with his jammies. That is my kind of man!
Paint on his nose...and the cup in front of him is soup..yes, he was making me paint water soup!
All in all a great, great day.
