What happens when you are broke and cant pay your taxes that you now for the first time ever...owe?
What happens when the bank closes your accounts due to NSF charges or inactivity?
What happens when you try to move forward and every step you take something pushes you back?
What happens when your little one is sick and NOBODY can figure it out?
What happens when just when you think you have it all figured out, you fail AGAIN?
What happens when people are sad around you and you need their happiness for just one day?
I will tell you....what happens...
You Love the one you lay beside at night more
You hold your child and kiss them 2 more times than normal.
You throw your checkbook and debit cards away and start cashing checks at Walmart
You smile in the presence of others and cry at night when saying your prayers.
You know in your heart and mind others have it worse.
You know that LIFE is a roller coaster and this is the scary part.
You know that it will get better.
You thank the lord you have a job, a house, cars and food for your family.
You LIVE,LAUGH, and LOVE always
What a very positive outlook! I admire that about you and I will remember to keep you and your family in my prayers.
ReplyDeleteHear my cry, O God; listen to my prayer. From the ends of the earth I call to you, I call as my heart grows faint; lead me to the rock that is higher than I. For you have been my refuge, a strong tower against the foe. I long to dwell in your tent forever and take refuge in the shelter of your wings. (Psalm 61:1-4)
Amen!! I love this post so much in so many ways! Awesome attitude and you always remember that there are so many people out there with no jobs, can't take care of their children, hungry, homeless etc... Cherish what you do have and hold on! Stop by my blog for a laugh if you need it :)
ReplyDeleteWow Tracy, this speaks so much about what a lot of people are going through, including myself. Sometimes you think you are the only one and life really can't get any harder, but we seem to manage to get through it. We have to, for our family. I love that you are able to look on the bright side of it and really remember what's important. It helps others to remember too.
ReplyDeleteAnd FYI- you can make monthly payments to the IRS.
Love ya, hang in there and I'm here for you!
AMEN SISTER! Laughter and love is always the best medicine. I have a sticker on my monitor that says, 'if God brings me to it, he will bring me through it.' Keep the faith...everything will work itself out and everything will be okay in the end. No matter how much you worry about it, your worry will not change the outcome. So give it up and just live. You can do it! :-) Jill
