Where the heck did my Friday go? I lounged in bed until 630am then got bubby up and dressed him and headed to take him to Mrs. Gabby's house. Then as usual headed to Starbucks then to my sisters, then with not much of a visit I headed home to rotate laundry, shower, pick up the house a little, in time for Russ to come home, him shower and then we headed to his BIG APPOINTMENT!
It took longer than I expected and I who loves blood and guts and surgery, kind of got queasy. I had to look away at times and sort of well....breathe!! I really tossed it up to I could have watched anyone else going through this procedure but it weirded me out to have it be Russ. I could see his toes curling at certain points and wanted to ask a hundred times if he was alright.
I'm a freak, I know this, but he is my big teddy bear and well e was just laying there helpless.
So with that being done we headed home. Russ quickly found his spot in bed and I read the 4th book to Twilight. Not even halfway into it. I had to leave to get the boys. Russ didn't get out of bed until 5 and that's because I made him. He is doing really well actually. He refused the pain meds so we will see. They said tomm. would be a little worse! He is handling this better than a cold and I am on pins and needles!
Not to mention that bubba was a disaster when I brought him home, my lord he is at that stage where he tries every avenue!!! Then tries again..
So I continue to say my prayers for sanity.
I read some more tonight made ham and bean soup with cornbread(its becoming a staple in my house) then decided I should journal. Okay well hello everyone. Take care have a splendid weekend.
