Not that I am out in it or anything(the world that is)....its been a bit since last post and to be honest its because I am worn out!! For those who know the situation; my child is a mystery to me and doctors, he doesn't get typical illness's like many other toddlers. He is always having us guess what its coming from and where its going. My week briefly with Bubby....
Last Sat...he woke with a 103.7 then all was well from Sun to Tues until night time and he had a large red welt...then wed morning it was all scabbed over...still no fever but with his history of unknown fevers and rashes off to the doctor we went Wed. Then BAMN all of a sudden Thursday he decides running a 103 temp. while we are working is awesome...then Friday same thing but this time 103.4 in the AM hours, never a great sign. So I am chasing Tylenol and Motrin and WE are miserable,ask my sissy who witnessed us all day. Meanwhile I am being referred to Children's Mercy Infectious Disease. Then Dalton naps from 130-430 and wakes up NORMAL....What? Are you kidding me? Nothing! Nada! Yes irritable and very grumpy and clingy but NO FEVER. Never at any time are there other symptoms not even as much as a snotty nose or little cough...DISTURBING I tell ya! It doesn't help matters that being OCD I didn't get any part of my house cleaned Friday and because of bubbas clinging to mommy nothing got done today either...I might lose it very soon. Thank goodness Starbucks is there for me otherwise LIFE and I might not be friends...
I did have a great moment of peace today though..it was about 1130 and bubba laid down for a well overdue nap after seeing Gama and Gampa...then I lazed around in my bed by myself with coffee and watched I love Lucy! OOOPPPS then I fell asleep, slightly and took a much needed nap. Since I don't sleep at night with medication....I cant wait until Russ works better hours so we can be normal...whatever that is?! So tomm is our annual Atcheson Turkey Day and it will be total chaos, but fun...Until then...Goodnight
