Walkers For Knockers

Today at 5am I was heading downtown to participate in Race 2 The Cure, 5K Breast Cancer walk. It was our 2nd year donating and walking with my Mom. My mother is a 9 year SURVIVOR! Early detection infact saves lives. "The best exam is a breast exam" cheerleaders were yelling on the sidelines. 28 thousand people registered to walk this year. Crazy! You saw signs on walkers in memory of loved ones who lost the battle to BC and loved ones who survived it. It's honestly an out of this world experience. I plan to just sleep better the night before next year, I was exhausted...The vendors were endless, the team slogans were hilarious, the conversation was great, the music was loud, and the HEAT was in full effect. Oh and the HILLS..the hills felt like what being in the ARMY must feel like, and I thought I worked out. Holy Moly! However with bleeding blisters on both of my heels and no more energy left in my body...crossing that finish line as they handed my Mom, a pink rose for being a Survivor.... well..at that moment it was all worth it. Good job team! Not a cloud in the sky...
One of the best vendors...McD's
Me, Mom and Sister Ashley
I know this picture is blurry but I wanted you to see across the bridge all those little things are people...28,000 people

I saw this on a building during the walk. Thought it was cool cause it had Dalton on it!
